Angel Tree Program–Salvation Army December 2, 2008

Filed under: Social Studies — Mrs. Escobar @ 8:31 pm

Dear Homeroom Parents,

Hopewell has adopted individual children through the Salvation Army “Perfect Angel” program.

Every homeroom has adopted 1 Angel.   Please see you homeroom teacher about your child!

Escobar’s homeroom has adopted a little boy, age 6. His clothing size is 7 and shoe size 12. He is need of clothing, shoes, underwear, books, and pjs.  He wishes for anything Tony Hawk.  I am sure other age appropriate gifts will also be appreciated!  The Salvation Army asks for one complete outfit + a pair of shoes and 2 or 3 gifts.

If you wish to donate to your child’s homeroom angel please send donations by Monday, December 15th.  The Salvation Army is asking for new unwrapped gifts only.  In the past, it is often easiest to send in a few dollars if you can, and the homeroom teacher can go shopping to make sure the items on the list are fullfilled and that we don’t get repeats of the same things.

Please do not hesitate to email me with any questions.

Thank you in advance for your generosity,

Mrs. Escobar
